Harsha De Saram

Chairman

Building upon his experience in the plantation and manufacturing sectors, Mr. De Saram Co-founded ICC in 1980 and successfully chairs a multitude of companies within the group, ranging from manufacturing to property development. Formerly the Chairman of Major & Specialist Constructors of Sri Lanka, he is the driving force behind the Group’s innovation, ensuring its steady growth over the past four decades.

Nishan Weerasooria

Vice Chairman

Hailing from S. Thomas' Preparatory and S. Thomas' College Mount Lavinia, Mr.Weerasooria holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Science from the Embry – Riddle Aeronautical University in the USA, and a Licensed Commercial Pilot. He has over 30 years of experience in managing business entities ranging from Industrial, Property Development, Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, Construction Chemicals & Engineering Solutions and Renewable Energy.

Namal Peiris

Director / CEO

Taking over as CEO from 2006, Mr. Peiris started his career with ICC as early as 1988. Drawing from his former experience working for multi-national construction companies, both in Sri Lanka and Oman, he has continued to contribute greatly to the Company’s success. A Chartered Civil Engineer, he holds a BSc. (Eng) and C.Eng MIE (SL) from the University of Moratuwa and a MBA from the University of Colombo.

Nihal De saram

Director

Mr. Nihal de Saram was appointed Director of ICC in 2017 a graduate of Leicester University UK, and a Charted Textile Technologist by profession, having worked with a British multinational company for over three decades in numerous countries around the world developing new businesses and manufacturing units on greenfield sites, as Supply Chain and manufacturing Director for Asia Pacific. Currently heads the newest division of ICC, ICC Smart Eco solutions, specializing in solid waste and wastewater management.

Vajira Nagodavithane

Director

A Chartered Civil Engineer from the University of Ceylon, Mr. Nagodavithane holds a BSc. Eng. (Hons) CEng,MICE (Lon) MIE (SL). With over 40 years of design and construction experience both locally and internationally, his expertise propelled him to the post of Director in 1997 after 4 years at the Company.

Chula Thenuwara

Executive Director - Buildings

Mr. Thenuwara spearheads the Projects Division, is a National Diploma holder for Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Member of IIESL. He joined ICC at its inception, following 3 years’ experience in the Mahaweli Development Board and was appointed as Director - Projects in 2016.

Mahendra Senarathne

Executive Director - Roads & Bridges

Mr. Senarathne joined ICC in 1994 and was appointed to the role of Director – Roads & Bridges, in 2020. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer from the University of Peradeniya, holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Highway Traffic Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Postgraduate Diploma (B.A) from the University of Wayamba.

Prasanna Alahakoon

Executive Director - MEP

He is a Chartered Engineer having over 30 years' experience in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering field and an Engineering graduate from the Shri Jawahrlal Nehru University - India. He is an accredited Project Management Professional from PMI USA and holds an MBA in Management of Technology from University of Moratuwa. Having retired from the Sri Lanka Navy as a Commodore, he joined ICC in 2014.

Jerome Goonawardena

Executive Director - Post Contracts

Joined ICC in February 2012. Appointed as an Executive Director in January 2023. Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors UK and a Member of the Association of Advancement of Cost Engineering USA and holds the title of Certified Cost Professional awarded by the AACE USA. Holds an MBA from PIM, University of Sri Jayewardenepura SL, MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from the University of Moratuwa SL, MSc in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying from Hariot Watt University UK and BSc in Engineering from the University of Moratuwa SL.

Dinesh Perera

Executive Director - IT & Administration

Holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. He is a distinguished member of The Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka and from the Chartered Institute of IT(BCS, UK). He joined ICC in 1997

Nalin Fernando

Executive Director - Finance

Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka as a Certified Business Accountant. Holds a Diploma in Business Administration from NIBM and counts over 31 years of service with ICC of which , 25 years as a Senior Manager.
